pancurses is a curses library for Rust that supports both Linux and Windows by abstracting away the backend that it uses (ncurses-rs and pdcurses-sys respectively). NOTE: I did research the web about dividing functions into namespaces like I did in the code, but I can't find if it's the correct approach for this specific task. 3,499 downloads per month Used in fewer than 35 crates. It supports most compilers on the above operating systems. Were also going to put the public header files where they belong in MinGW. PDCurses is a public domain curses library for X11, Win32, DOS and OS/2, with most functions available in System V R4 curses. The only question I have is: was my use of namespaces (both named and unnamed) correct? And is this a good approach as I do not see a reason to make a singleton or something involving classes? 1 2 cd win32a mingw32-make -f mingwin32.mak WIDEY UTF8Y That was easy Installing Were going to put the new 'pdcurses.a' and 'panel.a' library files where they belong in the MinGW subdirectory. I am currently learning how to use PDcurses in VC++ 2015 Community, and I noticed that menu.h is not implemented so I decided to extend the library for my own use (feel free to just copy the code if it's what you were looking for).
